Every contract. Every clause.
Every change — on a single record.
Govology's Contract Lifecycle Management platform is purpose-configured for Australian local government and aged care environments. From request to close-out, every action is captured, time-stamped and auditable — so council, board and regulator see one consistent story.
Six stages. One platform.
Most contract systems handle two or three stages well and bolt on the rest. Govology CLM was designed end-to-end so the data, approvals and risk register stay coherent across every transition.
Built for the work, not the brochure.
Every capability earns its place — drawn from real contract operations in councils and care providers, not feature checklists.
Clause libraries with version control
Approved, version-controlled clauses surfaced at the point of drafting. Changes flow through legal review with full audit history.
Template management
Master templates by contract type — services, capital works, panels, MOUs — with automatic population from procurement data.
Delegation matrix engine
Council financial delegations, board sub-committee thresholds and operational authorities encoded — no contract escapes the right approval.
Probity workflow
Conflict-of-interest declarations, probity advisor sign-off and tender evaluation evidence all linked to the contract record.
Electronic signature
Native e-signature integration. Contracts signed, time-stamped and registered without leaving the platform.
KPI & milestone engine
Track contractual KPIs and milestones against actual delivery. Performance scorecards available to suppliers and stakeholders.
Variations & claims register
Variations submitted, evaluated and approved through structured workflows. Claims position tracked against authorised amounts.
Live contract risk register
Risk identified at contract level, scored, and tracked over time. Roll-up dashboards for executive and audit committee.
Insurance & guarantee tracking
Currency certificates, indemnities and bank guarantees monitored with auto-escalation 60, 30 and 7 days from expiry.
AI that assists, not replaces.
Govology CLM uses AI to accelerate drafting, surface risk and cut review time — with humans in the loop on every consequential decision. AI features are optional, transparent and operate against a supervised model boundary you control.
Australian data residency. No training on your contracts. Auditable AI activity log per contract.

Questions, answered.
How long does CLM implementation take?
A typical councils' or aged care operator's CLM go-live runs 12 to 16 weeks: discovery and configuration (4 weeks), data migration and integration (4–6 weeks), user acceptance and rollout (4–6 weeks). Phased rollouts by contract type or department keep change manageable.
Do you migrate our existing contracts?
Yes. Migration is included in implementation scope. Active contracts are migrated with metadata, attachments and key clauses indexed. Historic contracts can be migrated as searchable archives at lower cost.
How is the platform priced?
CLM is licensed per-user with a base platform fee. Pricing is published on request and indexed against organisation size. Implementation, integration and migration are quoted separately as a one-off project.
Can we extend or customise it?
Yes. The platform is built on configurable workflows and an open API, so contract types, fields, approvals and integrations can be tailored. Customisations are version-controlled and survive platform upgrades.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You own your data. On exit, we provide a complete export in standard formats (contracts as PDF/A, metadata as JSON or CSV, audit logs as CSV) within 10 business days, after which the tenancy is decommissioned.
