One platform for the systems that run your organisation.
Cloud 7 ERP is Govology's enterprise resource planning practice — implementing, integrating and operating cloud-native ERP for Australian councils and aged care providers. Finance, procurement, payroll, HR and operations on a unified platform, with the integration and data layer that makes it actually work.
Five domains. One source of truth.
A cloud-native ERP only works when its modules genuinely talk to one another. Govology's implementations are scoped end-to-end so finance, procurement, payroll, HR and operations share data — not just a logo.
Finance & reporting
General ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, project accounting and statutory reporting on a single chart of accounts.
- Council financial reporting
- Aged care financial returns
- Multi-entity consolidation
- Period-close automation
Procurement & AP
Requisition through to payment — purchase orders, three-way match, invoice automation and supplier master integrated with VendorPanel and Tenderlink.
- Procure-to-pay automation
- Supplier onboarding workflows
- Catalogue and panel buying
- Spend analytics
Payroll & awards
Australian award interpretation, EBA compliance, superannuation, leave and STP2 reporting — built for the complex rosters of councils and care providers.
- Local Government & SCHADS awards
- Aged Care Industry Award (MA000018)
- Single Touch Payroll Phase 2
- Roster-to-pay integration
HR & workforce
Employee lifecycle, capability, learning, performance and workforce planning. Single record from onboarding to exit, with care-sector compliance built-in.
- Police checks & NDIS clearances
- Mandatory training tracking
- Workforce planning & FTE
- Performance reviews
Operations & assets
Work orders, asset management, fleet, facilities and inventory linked to finance and HR — operational reality reflected in the books in real time.
- Asset register & depreciation
- Maintenance work orders
- Fleet & facilities
- Inventory & stores
Modular, phased, boring on purpose.
ERP programmes fail when they try to do too much, too fast, with too little reality testing. Govology runs phased delivery with hard gates — every step proven before the next begins.
Discovery & design
Current state assessment, target operating model, module scope, integration map and migration strategy. Sign-off before build.
Configure & build
Iterative module configuration, integration build on Azure, security model, role-based access and reporting layer.
Migrate & test
Three migration cycles — mock, dress rehearsal, cut-over — each reconciled to source. End-to-end UAT with named scenarios.
Go-live & hypercare
Cut-over weekend with rollback plan, go-live command centre, daily standups for 4 weeks, then sustained operations handover.
The ERP is the starting point — not the finish line.
Most ERP failures aren't about the ERP — they're about everything around it. Govology builds the integration and data layer on Microsoft Azure that connects your ERP to the rest of your stack: AlayaCare, VendorPanel, Power BI, line-of-business systems, IoT and field tools.
Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse, Power Automate, Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps form the backbone. Reporting in Power BI. Observability in Azure Monitor.
- Care platformsAlayaCare, Lumary, Telstra Health and others — clinical and operational data into finance and payroll.
- Procurement platformsVendorPanel, Tenderlink, Local Buy — supplier and panel data flowing through the procure-to-pay process.
- Council systemsCivica Authority, Open Office, Pathway and Magiq — co-existence and gradual modernisation paths.
- Reporting & BIPower BI semantic models on Microsoft Fabric — operational, financial and statutory reporting from one source.
- Open API layerEvery integration exposed as a documented, versioned API — extension and replacement without a forklift.
What we do differently.
ERP delivery has a deserved reputation for cost overruns, capability gaps and political fallout. These are the principles we run every engagement against.
Fixed-price phases, not time & materials
Each phase priced and committed before it starts. Scope changes flow through a transparent change-control with no surprise invoices.
Configuration over customisation
We start from the cloud-native platform and configure to fit. Customisation is the exception, justified case-by-case, never a default.
Migration tested three times
Mock, dress rehearsal, cut-over. Every dollar in source reconciles to a dollar in target before sign-off. No go-live without it.
Knowledge transfer is in scope
Your team builds capability through delivery — paired configuration, runbooks, training and a handover plan with named successors.
Built on Microsoft Azure Australia
Sydney and Melbourne regions, IRAP-aligned configurations, Australian data residency, full audit trail through Azure Monitor.
Cost optimisation is continuous
We baseline cloud spend at go-live and report monthly. Right-sizing, reserved capacity and consumption tuning are part of the engagement.
What ERP well-delivered looks like.
Indicative benchmarks from cloud-native ERP engagements run on these principles.
Questions, answered.
Do you implement a specific ERP product or are you product-agnostic?
We're product-aware, not product-locked. Govology delivers on the major ERPs run by Australian councils and aged care providers — TechnologyOne, Civica, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP — and selects based on your context, not ours. Where there's no incumbent, we recommend cloud-native platforms hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Can you take on a stalled or failing implementation?
Yes. Recovery engagements are a meaningful part of our practice. We start with a structured 2–3 week health-check that produces an unvarnished assessment, a recovery plan and a recommendation on whether to continue, restart, or change platform.
What's the difference between Cloud 7 ERP and CMaaS?
Cloud 7 ERP is the platform implementation and integration practice — the systems your organisation runs on. CMaaS is a managed contract operations service. Many clients use Cloud 7 ERP for core business systems and CMaaS for hands-on contract management as an overlay.
How do you handle change management?
Change management is in every engagement scope, not bolted on. Stakeholder mapping, impact assessment, comms cadence, training plan and adoption metrics are designed at Phase 01 and tracked to go-live and beyond.
What does ongoing support look like?
Post go-live, we offer three tiers: hypercare (first 4–8 weeks, immersive), managed application support (steady state, SLA-backed), or knowledge-transferred handover (your team owns it, we step out). You choose at design.
